"Viking and Thermador igniters look the same as a standard igniter to most techs — but the calibration procedure is completely different. I carry factory calibration tools for both brands. A lot of pro-range calls I get were misdiagnosed by a previous tech who didn't have the right equipment. Eagle Rock has some of the oldest bungalows on my route. The stretch along Colorado Blvd near Eagle Rock Plaza is always real diagnostic work — tight kitchens, older machines, no room for guessing."
